Dead Brain

This project was made as a part of my course at University and was an exercise in creating a concept and pitch document without limiting my ideas to the constraints of my current abilities.

Dead Brain is a cartoon-style style Strategy/RPG with elements of the old-school point-and-click genre of games. The main demographic this game is targeting is males aged 12-18 due to the mixture of humour and violence (though more humorous than violent to keep the game around 12+ certification with the ELSPA). The game is set in a post-apocalypse British city only a few years after the zombie outbreak started. This game is designed primarily for use on the PC though could be adapted in future for use on consoles.

The intention was to create a zombie game from the zombie's point of view while encouraging the player to use their brain to advance through the game rather than the typical approach of "charging in guns blazing". The gameplay would mainly be defeating stronger zombies than you by figuring out environmental puzzles to beat them and advancing your standing within the zombie hierarchy to gain better access to food (a.k.a. living human survivors).

I believe I achieved my intentions for the project and created a unique design for a game.
